Get to know us!Hi everyone! We are Kata Szilágyi and Balázs Schreiner, the creators of divETIK. Although on the surface (and as you can see in the pictures, often underwater too) we love to joke around. We love to have fun, but at the same time, we take responsible education very seriously. We are an experienced, internationally recognized Hungarian UEF dive instructor duo. We simply love diving, and the truth is, we can't get enough of it, and we are happy to share our experiences and knowledge with you.
Our name is no accident: we believe that respect for the sea begins on the shores. As ethical divers and instructors, we prioritize the issue of safety and environmental protection – we protect the water and its wonderful marine life. We follow the rules, we are ethical and attentive toward our dive buddies, and what is most important to us: being straightforward and ethical with you.
Our teaching style is characterized by the balance of patience and decisiveness. While we pay attention to discipline, our strength is to pass on thorough knowledge during our lighthearted course. Teaching is a huge joy for us! We are infinitely proud that our students are not ashamed to tell us if they have any difficulties, because they feel we gladly help them overcome every obstacle. We believe that it is okay to make mistakes, and you must learn from them. The best opportunity for this is the course itself or a joint practice dive. We are not just teachers, but partners in your development.
As the divETIK dive school, we see ourselves as a community. We are not only with you in the pool and during theory classes; we love passing on knowledge and developing, traveling together with our students to the world's most beautiful waters. Be it a nearby lake or a trip to the Maldives. If you have any questions or want to practice, we are at your disposal even after the course. It is an uplifting feeling for us when we look at you proudly underwater and it fills us with joy that we could help you experience these unforgettable moments.
